Let’s get something straight right from the start.\u00a0 My stupid\u00a0 truck broke down, refused to start and I wasn’t happy.\u00a0 I tried boosting my battery, then tried replacing my battery, then tried charging the new battery before reality sunk in. It took 3 days for me to realize that my truck wouldn’t start and it was more than\u00a0 a dead battery.<\/p>\n

I called the garage and had it towed to them.\u00a0 It was, as I feared, my starter.\u00a0 It was dead, worn out, kaput, finished.\u00a0 And the bill was going to be a lot more than a new battery.<\/p>\n

But I was between a rock and a hard place, didn’t know how to replace the starter myself so whatever the mechanic\u00a0 said was a go.<\/p>\n

It wasn’t until I went to pick up my now fixed up truck that the garage mechanic asked me, “so where did it break down?”.\u00a0 He was waiting to hear my tale of woe.\u00a0 And that was when it struck me.\u00a0 This dumb old truck was actually being pretty good to me.\u00a0 It broke down in my driveway!\u00a0 Now that was synchronistic<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0 Of all the places it could have broken down, this was by far the best place in the world to break down.\u00a0 I use this truck to go fishing, sometimes to out of the way lakes.\u00a0 If it had chosen to breakdown when I went to get my boat out of the water, oh the headaches I would have had then.\u00a0 Don’t even want to go there in my mind.<\/p>\n

Yup, she’s a pretty good truck.\u00a0 A little rusty if you look close but I like how she looks after me.<\/p>\n
