So how about you make it a healthy direction?<\/p>\n<p>What\u2019s a healthy hobby? Well, first there\u2019s the obvious: exercise. That means you could be into swimming, weight training, dancing, <a href=\"http:\/\/kanatachiropractic.com\/ottawaqigong.htm\">Qi Gong<\/a>, yoga, pilates, kick boxing, martial arts, skiing, skating and many, <em>many <\/em>other activities.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>But there\u2019s <em>other<\/em> healthy hobbies too.\u00a0 Have you ever considered:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><em> . . . trying to become a healthy cook? <\/em><\/p>\n<p>Take your cooking skills to the next level by learning more about vegetable centered and low cholesterol meals.\u00a0 There are loads of tasty recipes out there. Go online to the<a href=\"http:\/\/www.foodnetwork.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\"> food network <\/a>or your local bookstore\u2019s cooking section and be inspired.<\/p>\n<p><em>. . . keeping a journal? <\/em><\/p>\n<p>The reflective mind is an active mind. Self examination is a really effective way of recognizing patterns that either work or don\u2019t work in your life.\u00a0 Not only is this useful for self-reflection, but it\u2019s the type of expression that also relieves stress and let\u2019s your issues shout themselves into resolutions.<\/p>\n<p><em>. . . playing Sudoku or the weekly<a href=\"http:\/\/thinks.com\/daily_crossword.htm\" target=\"_blank\"> crossword<\/a> puzzle? <\/em><\/p>\n<p>A sharp mind needs exercise like any other muscle in your body. The saying, \u2018either use it or lose it\u2019, has a lot of worth. Keep your cognition in top shape and practise weekly with a game of Sudoku.<\/p>\n<p><em>. . . going fishing?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s good for the body to be in the fresh air, and it\u2019s good for the soul to sit on some quiet water and wait for a bite. I love fishing; it\u2019s a pastime that not only takes you to the prettiest, most peaceful spots along the shore, but also offers fast action moments of excitement.<\/p>\n<p><em>. . . joining a book club? <\/em><\/p>\n<p>Reading\u2019s good for you, like vegetables, but what I really have in mind is the <em>social benefit<\/em> of a book club. Of course, this expands into all sorts of clubs: tea and coffee clubs, men\u2019s groups, women\u2019s societies, hobby enthusiasts, bowling clubs\u00a0 &#8211; the list goes on. It\u2019s uplifting to gather with friends. Social health is something that can too easily be neglected, but is absolutely worth your time.<\/p>\n<p>Do you have any more idea for healthy hobbies?
